The Cincinnati Bengals have been looking for running back help since Zack Moss suffered a neck injury two weeks ago, and they may sign a former Super Bowl champion.
Veteran running back Leonard Fournette worked out with the Bengals on Monday, according to Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Chase Brown was in a timeshare with Moss before the latter was placed on injured reserve with the neck issue. Brown has since handled the bulk of the backfield work for the Bengals, but the team also acquired former Chicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert in a trade last week.
Fournette, 29, has been a free agent since the Buffalo Bills cut him last season. He appeared in just two games and played a very limited role before the Bills decided to move on.
Fournette was the No. 4 overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2017 and spent three seasons with them. He followed that up by playing three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and won a Super Bowl with them in the 2020 season. His success in the postseason with the Bucs earned him the nickname “Playoff Lenny.”
Though Fournette has drawn interest from other teams since the offseason, he is unlikely to carve out a significant role with Cincinnati or any other team. He could, however, contribute as a depth piece somewhere if he is in playing shape.
