Report: Bill Belichick expected to look into 1 role for 2024

With Bill Belichick looking increasingly unlikely to coach in the NFL in 2024, he may be lining up a different sort of job.

Some NFL sources believe Belichick may spent 2024 doing television work, according to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports. Those around the sport believe Belichick would work well as a studio analyst, and that TV networks would eagerly vie for his services.

“Every network would want him,” one media agent told Jones. “He would revolutionize media with the way he prepares.”

The idea of Belichick doing media work is amusing given how gruff he tended to be with reporters. However, nobody doubts his knowledge, and he has shown a different side of himself during his more relaxed media appearances, no matter how rare they are. Studio work would also be a way to keep Belichick in touch with the sport, as Sean Payton did during his year off.

Interestingly, this means that two of the greatest coaching minds in the business might find themselves working in TV in 2024, albeit for different reasons.
