Nobody is buying Bill O’Brien’s explanation for his apparent outburst during the NFL Draft on Saturday night.
Cameras caught O’Brien angrily pointing at his phone while the Houston Texans made their third round selection, leading to a lot of speculation regarding what could have provoked such a reaction. On Sunday, O’Brien claimed it was all a joke.
Last night the camera at his home caught what looked like a very agitated Bill O’Brien. When he was asked about it last night on a zoom call:
"No, we were messing with the Zoom. We were messing on the Zoom with myself and (Jack) Easterby and all the guys. No, nothing agitated."

Yeah, right. That doesn’t even make any sense.
It doesn’t help O’Brien that we’ve heard the real reason for his outburst. That makes a lot more sense than this attempt at an explanation.
