Offensive linemen don’t always score touchdowns, but when they do, they make the headlines. Just take, for example, what Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix and offensive lineman Frank Crum did in the second quarter of Saturday night’s AFC Divisional Round matchup against the Buffalo Bills at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colo.
With the Broncos inside the red zone and primed to add more points to the board, Nix executed a perfect fake handoff and tossed a short pass to Crum for a 7-yard touchdown that put Denver in front, 10-7.
Although he was an eligible receiver, Crum was clearly not considered a big touchdown threat by the Bills during that play. He surely proved Buffalo wrong, as he surprised the Bills by breaking free from his blocking duties before getting a pass from Nix and rumbling into the end zone for a big-man touchdown.

Nix has proven to be a solid quarterback for the Broncos in just his second season in the NFL, and that touchdown also proves that he can make daring plays in high-pressure games.
As for Crum, who stands 6-foot-8 and weighs 313 pounds according to his NFL profile, he gets a touchdown for the first time in his pro career — a great story for him to tell regardless of the outcome of this contest.
