Brandon Marshall says he would go down in sinking ship with Ryan Fitzpatrick
After throwing six interceptions in Week 3, Ryan Fitzpatrick threw another three in a loss against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Many are calling for the veteran quarterback to be benched, but Brandon Marshall isn’t having any of that.
When asked about Fitzpatrick’s horrendous play over the past two weeks, Marshall made his feelings very clear.
Asked what his confidence level in Ryan Fitzpatrick is, Brandon Marshall says: āIām staying in the ship with him." #jets #nfl

The problem the Jets have is that the next man up would be Geno Smith, and hardly anyone has confidence in him. There’s a reason no Jets players came out and supported Smith during the offseason when Fitzpatrick’s contract stalemate dragged on for months.
As we learned when he posted this entertaining video, Marshall is a big fan of Fitzpatrick. But if Fitz continues to turn the ball over, Todd Bowles will be obligated to evaluate the position.
