Brandon Spikes ‘confused’ after Aaron Hernandez murder conviction
At least one of Aaron Hernandez’s former teammates does not seem to agree with Wednesday’s verdict.
Brandon Spikes, who played with Hernandez both at the University of Florida and with the New England Patriots, took to Twitter after Hernandez was found guilty of murdering Odin Lloyd and said he is “confused.”
IM CONFUSED ABOUT THE JUSTICE SYSTEM THESE DAYS !!!

Spikes was immediately blasted by Twitter followers who accused him of defending Hernandez, and he got defensive.

If Spikes is, in fact, “confused” that Hernandez was found guilty, he didn’t pay close enough attention to the trial. While many seem hung up on the fact that no murder weapon was recovered, there was overwhelming circumstantial evidence against Hernandez. The mystery box that his fiancee admitted to throwing in a dumpster the day after Lloyd was murdered is a good place to start.
