Brian Hoyer reportedly loves Bill O’Brien, wants to stay with Texans
Brian Hoyer could be an option for quarterback-needy NFL teams, but it sounds like he is content remaining with the Houston Texans.
NFL Media’s Rand Getlin reports that Hoyer loves playing for Bill O’Brien and does not intend on leaving Houston.
I'm told #Texans QB Brian Hoyer loves playing for head coach Bill O'Brien and doesn't intend on leaving Houston.

Hoyer is under contract with the Texans for 2016 and set to earn $5.25 million. Following the Brock Osweiler signing, he is slated to serve as the team’s backup, so that price is a little high for the position. That explains why recent reports have said the Texans are expected to part ways with Hoyer.
Hoyer threw for 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions last season. He was a disaster in the playoffs, but he could provide some strong trade value. If I’m the Jets, I would view Hoyer as a solid alternative to Ryan Fitzpatrick, who may end up leaving the team.
