Broncos fans had message for Aaron Rodgers at Phoenix Open

Aaron Rodgers is enjoying a little golf this week while he contemplates his future, but he was reminded on Wednesday that there are very few public places where he can avoid NFL fans.

Rodgers was one of several celebrities who played in the Annexus Pro-Am ahead of the Waste Management Open. When he was introduced, some Broncos fans could be heard shouting at him to “come to Denver!”

One report claimed Rodgers responded “we’ll see,” but we didn’t hear that in the video.

At one point last offseason, it looked like Rodgers would never play for the Packers again. Then, it appeared he and the team reached an agreement where he would play one more season in Green Bay. The relationship between Rodgers and Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst has improved since, and it looks like Rodgers might be leaning toward remaining in Green Bay.

If Rodgers does want a trade, he will have no shortage of suitors. Denver will definitely be among them.
