Report: Broncos have made substantial offer to Brock Osweiler
The Denver Broncos are already working to try getting Brock Osweiler under contract, according to a report.
NFL Media’s James Palmer says the team has a “substantial” offer out to the quarterback.
I'm told the Broncos have made a substantial offer to Brock Osweiler.

What’s interesting is this runs counter to a previous report that said the team was willing to let him go in free agency.
The market for quarterbacks has gone up with Sam Bradford getting $36 million over two years from the Eagles. Osweiler can make the argument that he should be paid around the same amount.
The 25-year-old QB threw for 10 touchdowns and six interceptions while helping the Broncos win the Super Bowl. You know that John Elway values Osweiler’s services as he noted recently the Broncos would not have been able to win a Super Bowl without both its QBs.
Given that Osweiler has only thrown 305 career passes in the NFL, any hesitation to give him a lot of money would be understandable. However, given the alternatives on the market, the Broncos or someone else are likely to pay Osweiler good money.
