The wrist injury Phillip Lindsay suffered during the Denver Broncos’ loss on Monday night is apparently pretty serious.
Lindsay has suffered ligament damage and a possible scaphoid fracture, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport. The injuries will keep Lindsay out of the Broncos’ Week 17 game and the Pro Bowl.
Lindsay is dealing with a possible scaphoid fracture, along with ligament damage. Unless additional tests present a more positive outlook, he faces a lengthy recovery. https://t.co/31bStliEFn

Lindsay made history by becoming the first offensive undrafted player to make the Pro Bowl as a rookie. He finished the loss to the Raiders with 46 rushing yards and 11 receiving yards. Lindsay closes the season with over 1,000 rushing yards and 10 total touchdowns.
Royce Freeman and Devontae Booker will likely split carries in Denver’s Week 17 game against the Chargers.
