Brother of Janoris Jenkins charged with manslaughter
Janoris Jenkins’s brother has been charged in the death of a man whose body was discovered in Jenkins’s home.
Jenkins’s brother William is in custody on charges of aggravated manslaughter stemming from the death of family friend Roosevelt Rene.

ESPN’s Josina Anderson reported that Jenkins was located in New York after the homicide.
I'm told after the homicide of Roosevelt Rene occurred, #Giants CB Janoris Jenkins' brother, William Jenkins, was located in Geneva, NY. He is currently being held in the Ontario county jail, pending extradition to New Jersey, per source.

Police are looking at possible strangulation as a possible cause of death. The investigation developed quickly, as the body was found in Janoris Jenkins’s basement on Tuesday.
The Giants are monitoring the situation, but Jenkins himself has not been connected to any crime.
