
Police are looking into whether strangulation/suffocation was the cause of death for the man who died at the New Jersey home of Janoris Jenkins.
A dead body was found in the basement of Jenkins’ Bergen County home in New Jersey on Tuesday. The Giants defensive back reportedly was in Florida when the body was found.
Local authorities are investigating the situation and treating things as a homicide case. According to NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo, they’re looking into whether strangulation/suffocation was the cause of death.

Jenkins, 29, is entering his third season with the Giants after beginning his career with the Rams. A man claiming to be his brother reportedly was involved in a bizarre flight incident on Monday night.
The Giants are said to be monitoring the situation.
