Perriman has been trying to catch on someplace since the Baltimore Ravens cut him at the end of camp. He had signed with the Washington Redskins, but lasted just four days on the active roster. His other workouts since then hadn’t led to anything until Saturday.
The Browns have some injury issues at wide receiver right now, so Perriman will probably get a shot, if only for one game and perhaps in a very limited role. We’ll see if he can stick beyond that.
