Browns owner confirms Hue Jackson will return despite 0-16 season
The Cleveland Browns may have gone 0-16 this season and are 1-31 in two seasons under Hue Jackson, but they have not lost faith in the head coach.
Browns owner Jimmy Haslam said after Sunday’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers that Jackson would return as the team’s coach next season.

Haslam cited the team’s effort in the season finale as a reason for keeping Jackson.

The Browns have been devoid of talent and were hamstrung by a lack of quarterbacks. You still would expect them to at least win one game this season though, which they didn’t. Embarrassing plays like this one are a big reason why.
For his part, Jackson believes nobody else could have endured the past two seasons either.

The Browns need to get some more talent in there and fast. With two picks in the top five, they are well positioned to turn things around.
