The Cleveland Browns are again looking to the future.
With something resembling a healthy stable of quarterbacks again, the Browns announced Friday that they will start rookie Cody Kessler ahead of Josh McCown on Sunday.

The Browns are still looking for their first win. They’d obviously like it. Kessler not only gives them the chance to get that win, but he could have a long-term future where McCown does not. It doesn’t come as a huge surprise that he’s starting, but it’s a welcome relief that he’s healthy again and can continue his growth as a quarterback.
