
Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians was taken to a local hospital after feeling ill prior to Tuesday’s joint practice between the Cardinals and Chargers in San Diego.
Cardinals VP of media relations Mark Dalton shared a statement from the club on Arians’ status, which revealed that the coach was experiencing stomach pain:

The Cardinals are in San Diego all week ahead of Friday’s preseason game between the teams.
Arians, 63, is a two-time NFL coach of the year. He has coached the Cardinals since 2013 and is under contract with the team through 2018.
