The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have made a big addition to their defense.

Tampa Bay is signing linebacker Christian Rozeboom in a move that will keep him within the division. Rozeboom had 122 tackles and two sacks last season with the Carolina Panthers.

Rozeboom, who was undrafted out of South Dakota State in 2020, will be playing with his fourth team. He began his career with the Los Angeles Rams and also spent some time with the Kansas City Chiefs prior to joining Carolina last year. He had 135 tackles and a sack for the Rams in the 2024 season, which was his most productive season.

Rozeboom played in all 17 regular season games from 2022-2024, though he missed two games last season. The Bucs have tried to make some additions at the linebacker position in case Lavonte David does not return for the 2026 season.

The Bucs went 8-9 last season, which tied the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons for the best record in the NFC South. The Bucs ranked 20th in points allowed and 19th in yards allowed last season.

Rozeboom won a Super Bowl with the Rams during the 2021 season. He was part of a questionable tackle from Tua Tagovailoa in 2024.
