Report: Bills, Lions may be looking to trade down in draft

The first round of the 2019 NFL Draft gets underway on Thursday, and one of the most fun aspects of it has to do with the trades. Which teams are looking to move up or down, and for whom?

NFL Network host Peter Schrager shared his 10 nuggets ahead of the draft. One item is that the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions may be looking to trade out of the top 10.

The Lions drafted at pick No. 8 and the Bills follow them at No. 9.

Interestingly, those are two of the spots Larry Brown Sports writer Jason Lisk predicted as among the most ripe for a trade on draft day. The thinking is that a team interested in a quarterback might want to jump ahead of the Denver Broncos, which are picking at No. 10 and possibly looking for a quarterback.

In a media consensus mock draft, we had the Lions and Bills taking defensive linemen at their current respective spots.
