Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward was the first overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Ward played college football at Incarnate Word, Washington State and Miami (FL), and he played high school football at West Columbia in Texas.
On Monday, Ward’s high school revealed the street has now been named Cam Ward Way in a neat honor for the Titans signal-caller.

Ward played in just five games as a sophomore, throwing for 243 yards with a pair of touchdowns. In his junior year and senior season, he combined to throw for 15 touchdowns with over 2,000 yards.
During Ward’s senior season, he helped lead West Columbia to a co-district title with Needville High School as the other co-champion.
Ward broke out at Washington State and then played well during his only season with the Miami Hurricanes. Ultimately, that led to him being the QB1 of his draft class, and even being selected first over two-way sensation and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.
In his rookie season, Ward started and played in every single game, throwing for 3,169 yards with 15 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.
The Titans fired head coach Brian Callahan in October, and they then hired Robert Saleh following the season in a new era in Tennessee, and they are hoping Ward can help turn things around quickly in Nashville.
