When Chad Johnson first changed his last name to Ochocinco, he said he was only doing it for publicity and that it was temporary. It looks like that short ride has come to an end.
Ochocinco tweeted on Wednesday that his name would be changed back to Chad Johnson by July 4th in time for his wedding to fiancee Evelyn Lozada.
TMZ later confirmed the news, though they say Lozada doesn’t care what name she ends up with.
I initially refrained from calling Chad “Ochocinco” because I thought the whole thing was pretty ridiculous, but eventually I relented. Now I’m going to have to get used to calling him Johnson again. It just isn’t as fun as Ochocinco.
