Chris Pratt: F— Adrian Peterson
The outrage surrounding Adrian Peterson has cooled down, but it may be reheated thanks to the opinion of actor Chris Pratt.
Pratt was profiled by GQ for its Men of the Year issue and had plenty to share with writer Drew Magary. Magary decided to turn the cover story into a 41 awesome things about Pratt list, but he had plenty left over, and he published some of the extras on Deadspin.
Pratt’s thoughts on Peterson stand out:
“[Bleepin] Adrian Peterson, man. Yeah, that’s [bleeped] up, especially when you have f—ing seven kids. And they don’t live with you—they just come visit you sometimes. It’s good, I guess, that he’s being punished the way he is, which is probably the way that people should think about punishing their own kids, which is like, ‘When you f— up, I’m going to take something away from you that you really like. And then maybe you won’t do it again.'”
We’re guessing the interview between Magary and Pratt occurred a while ago back when the Peterson topic was hot in the headlines. Pratt might not be too happy to know that Peterson accepted a plea deal and will not have to serve any jail time, but he’s probably right in that Peterson probably won’t do it again.
