Colin Kaepernick’s difficult preseason keeps getting worse.
The 49ers quarterback is dealing with a reported “dead arm,” according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

It’s an issue you typically hear about with pitchers in baseball, but not so often with quarterbacks. The team was previously calling the issue “arm fatigue.”
It’s just more bad news for Kaepernick. Despite the coaching staff insisting otherwise, it seems he’s fallen hopelessly behind in his quarterback battle with Blaine Gabbert. It’s almost impossible to envision him starting when the season opens.
