The Indianapolis Colts have officially agreed to terms with their new head coach, and there are no surprises over who got the job.
On Tuesday, the Colts announced that they have hired Josh McDaniels.

There had been speculation leading up to and after the Super Bowl that McDaniels could back out of his agreement with the Colts. Some of that was fueled by the belief that Bill Belichick might change his mind about returning next season, but the coach seemed to put that to rest with one of his infamous quips during a conference call on Monday.
McDaniels is best known for his time as the offensive coordinator with the Pats, and he has worked with Tom Brady for several years. That experience along with his failed stint as the head coach of the Denver Broncos should help him in Indy, and fans are right to be excited about what McDaniels and a healthy Andrew Luck could do in the AFC South.
