Cowboys fans already burning DeMarco Murray jerseys (Video)
The Dallas Cowboys officially parted ways with DeMarco Murray on Thursday, and the team’s fans wasted no time doing the same.
Not long after Murray’s new contract with the Philadelphia Eagles was announced, fans began posting visual evidence of them burning the running back’s jersey.
Fans may burn the jersey because they feel they no longer have use for it, but they shouldn’t be upset with Murray. It was evident that the Cowboys simply did not want to pay him very much money for a variety of reasons, which isn’t his fault. Fans actually should be pleased that Murray was willing to take less to stay with the team. Something tells me that this will work out well for Dallas (hello Adrian Peterson!).
And at least this is a step up from the last time we saw Cowboys fans burning jerseys.
