Cowboys reportedly have interest in Cameron Wake

Cameron Wake Dolphins

The Dallas Cowboys need to shore up their defensive line, and now they could be looking for help across the NFC.

According to a report by SiriusXM NFL Radio on Tuesday, the Cowboys have interest in four-time Pro Bowler Cameron Wake of the Miami Dolphins.

The 34-year-old Wake, who just signed a two-year contract extension with Miami in May, has recorded 3.0 sacks and a forced fumble in seven games for the Dolphins in 2016.

Age and a 2015 Achilles tear have taken a toll on Wake, who is no longer an every-down player. But the Cowboys, who are tied for 21st in the league with just 14.0 sacks this season, will take the pass rush help anywhere they can get it ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline.
