Dalton Schultz trolls Cowboys with social media video

Dalton Schultz helped make a bad season worse for his former team on Monday night, and the Houston Texans tight end does not feel badly about that.

Schultz had 5 catches for 33 yards in Houston’s 34-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. On Tuesday morning, the veteran shared a video on social media in which he poured milk into two black cups of coffee to reveal a message that said, “The Houston Texans are the best team in Texas!”

Schultz, a former fourth-round draft pick, spent the first five seasons of his career with the Cowboys. He was very productive in Dallas and had 198 receptions, 2,000 yards and 17 touchdown catches from 2020-2022. Despite that, the Cowboys chose not to re-sign him ahead of the 2023 season, which is when Schultz landed in Houston.

Monday night’s game probably was not the exact “revenge game” that Schultz had in mind, but he obviously still enjoyed beating his former team. Though the Cowboys are shorthanded without Dak Prescott, they have fallen to 3-7 while Houston improved to 7-4. There is no debating that the Texans are currently the best team in the Lone Star State.
