Dan Orlovsky trolls himself in hilarious tweet about 2020

Dan Orlovsky

You could make the argument that Dan Orlovsky has already enjoyed more success in his career as an NFL analyst than he did when he played in the league, and the former quarterback probably would not disagree. A hilarious tweet he sent this week if proof of that.

Orlovsky created his own meme on Tuesday about how rough of a year 2020 has been. He used a side-by-side image that featured a photo of him celebrating with the Indianapolis Colts representing “my plans” on the left and another of him making one of the most boneheaded plays in NFL history on the right. The photo on the right represented 2020.

Nicely done, Dan.

Orlovsky played in the NFL for several seasons, and he enjoyed decent success when he started five games for the Indianapolis Colts in 2011. However, the play he will be most remembered for is when he was with the winless Detroit Lions in 2008. During a game that season, Orlovsky accidentally took a safety by stepping out of the end zone while trying to keep a play alive. He has been reminded of the embarrassing blunder numerous times since.

Orlovsky is now being considered for a pretty significant role with ESPN, so he’s doing just fine.
