The NFL announced on Sunday that rapper Bad Bunny will headline the halftime show at Super Bowl LX, and Danica Patrick was not pleased about the news.
Patrick was one of the many people who had a strong reaction to the NFL choosing Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, to perform at the Super Bowl at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. Bad Bunny is from Puerto Rico and sings almost entirely in Spanish.
Patrick feels that is a problem for the NFL. She shared her thoughts in a social media post responding to another account that criticized the NFL for hiring Bad Bunny.
“Oh fun. No songs in English should not be allowed at one of America’s highest rated television events of the year … not just for sports,” Patrick wrote.
Oh fun. 🙄

Bad Bunny has canceled several of his tour dates in the United States this year. He said in an interview that he was concerned there would be U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents at his shows looking to detain people.
The rapper said he agreed to perform at the Super Bowl “for my people, my culture, and our history.”
Patrick, a former NASCAR driver, has become more open about her political views in recent years.
