Davante Adams returns to score TD for Jets following concussion check
Davante Adams made his return to the New York Jets’ offense late in the game on Thursday night despite having been evaluated for a concussion, and he made a big impact.
Adams had caught a pass on a huge 4th-and-1 situation late in the third quarter of his Jets’ game against the Houston Texans at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. But Adams laid face down on the turf after being pushed out of bounds. He was taken into a medical tent on the sideline and then into the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion.

Adams later returned to the field with around six minutes left in the game.
Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers had been frustrated with Adams earlier in the game after his favorite receiver dropped a pass, and also after Adams didn’t run out a route. But Adams made a great move to get that first down. Then with 2:56 left, Rodgers found Adams for a 37-yard touchdown pass to put the team up 21-10.

That was quite a turnaround for a player who was feared to have been concussed.
