Demaryius Thomas suffered minor injuries when he was involved in a rollover accident in Denver earlier this month, and it turns out the veteran wide receiver is in trouble with the law because of it.
Denver police confirmed to FOX31 that Thomas has been arrested for vehicular assault related to the Feb. 16 crash. Thomas was said to be driving 70 mph in a 30-mph zone at the time of the accident, and there were two other passengers in the car. Both were transported to the hospital and one suffered serious injuries.
Police said that neither drugs nor alcohol were believed to be a factor in the accident.

Thomas last played for the Houston Texans. He tore his Achilles on Dec. 23 and missed the rest of the season and playoffs. The Texans released him earlier in the month, and he is currently a free agent.
