The Denver Police Department did a masterful troll job of the New England Patriots during Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.
During the second quarter of the game when the Pats were struggling, the Denver PD’s Twitter account sent this tongue-in-cheek tweet:
MISSING PERSONS unit heading to @SportsAuthField to try & locate Patriots Offense. GO @Broncos
— Denver Police Dept. (@DenverPolice) January 24, 2016

What a burn!
It’s not like the tweet wasn’t well deserved, either. Tom Brady was only 9-of-20 for 87 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in the first half. The offense had only rushed for 35 yards — 11 of which came on a Brady scramble. Brady was sacked twice and hit eight times as he was flustered from the constant pressure by the Broncos.
Well done, Denver PD, well done. Sometimes those police departments love getting involved with sports tweets, as we’ve seen before.
