To outside observers, the Oakland Raiders were besieged by Antonio Brown-related drama for much of training camp. According to their quarterback, however, things were actually pretty placid.
Derek Carr was full of praise for Brown, comparing him to the “Energizer Bunny” while adding that his helmet-related issues weren’t troublesome for the team because they knew what was really going on.

It’s up to everyone else to judge how forthcoming Carr is being here. The fact that Brown has openly criticized the Raiders even after the helmet issue was resolved probably isn’t what the organization wants. At the same time, it’s one the players can safely ignore, so maybe Carr has a point.
