The Baltimore Ravens have aggressively added to their defensive line this offseason, and one of the new members of the team is expecting big things.
Derek Wolfe said he expected record-breaking performances from the Ravens’ defense in 2020, and added things will get bad for opposing quarterbacks.
“We’re going to have the best defensive line in the league, for sure,” Wolfe said Friday, via Jamison Hensley of ESPN. “We can break records.
“When it comes to our offense getting us up by 10, 20 points a game, it’s going to get ugly for these quarterbacks.”
Wolfe and Calais Campbell join Brandon Williams up front for Baltimore. Wolfe and Campbell combined for 13.5 sacks last season, and Campbell alone has multiple double-digit sack seasons to his name. Together, they definitely seem confident of backing up Lamar Jackson’s Super Bowl guarantee.
