Denver Broncos defensive end Derek Wolfe could be in some sort of trouble after he was caught on video throwing a punch at a nightclub over the weekend.
TMZ Sports says Wolfe was at VIE Nightclub in Denver Saturday night when the incident happened. A little chaos started to break out, and Wolfe can be seen pulling his arm back and throwing a haymaker. It’s unclear whether or not his punch landed and struck anyone.
Wolfe just completed his fourth season in the league. He recorded 49 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 12 games for the Super Bowl champs last season after he missed four games due to a violation of the league’s performance-enhancing drugs policy. The team signed him to a four-year, $36.7 million extension in January.
Wolfe can be a bit of a loose cannon on the field, as a teammate says he once made this crazy statement to an opposing player.
