Details on Rashee Rice’s knee injury revealed
Some details regarding Rashee Rice’s knee injury were reported on Monday.
Rice suffered a knee injury during his Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 4 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. There were initial fears that Rice’s ACL had been torn — an injury that would have ended his season. However, more information regarding the injury was made known on Monday.
According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, Rice needs to have his LCL repaired. However, there is a chance that is the only ligament that Rice will need to have repaired.
Though Rice is still expected to miss the rest of the season, his recovery timeline will be shorter than if his ACL were torn.
