With his idol and mentor Deion Sanders in the building, Devin Hester high-stepped his way into the NFL record book yet again.
Hester came into Thursday night’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers tied at 19 return touchdowns with Sanders. During the second quarter, Hester grabbed the top spot on the list by himself with a 62-yard punt return score as his former head coach Lovie Smith looked on.
Hester now sits three ahead of Hall of Famer Rod Woodson and has six more than long time Buccaneer Ronde Barber.
