The sports world can be explained by the answer to one simple question: pro-Tebow or anti-Tebow. You either are a fan or you aren’t; there’s no in between. Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant improbably falls under the former category, and that apparently isn’t sitting too well with Dallas fans.
“I wonder how all the people who criticize Tebow feel? #stupid lol,” he tweeted late Sunday.
Then he started to hear it from the haters.
“I guess all the people who are mad in my mentions are #Tebowhaters..everybody can say what they want about his QB skills he is #Winning … Much respect to Tim Tebow keep doing your thing.”
You might be surprised how many supporters in the sports community Tebow has. For all the people who want to see him fail, there are just as many athletes who support him.
As long as Dez isn’t worried about losing street cred — and by repping Team Tebow there’s a lot to be surrendered — then he shouldn’t worry about the backlash. Twitter is a dangerous place to be when Tim Tebow is playing.
