Draya Michele: I did not drug Orlando Scandrick

Orlando Scandrick has been suspended for the first four games of the regular season for testing positive for a banned substance, but the Dallas Cowboys cornerback insists he unknowingly took it. Scandrick was on vacation with his ex-girlfriend Draya Michele at the time he allegedly took MDMA — more commonly known as “Molly” or ecstasy — and many have accused her of drugging him.

Scandrick claims the drug made its way into his drink without him knowing.

“Failing a drug test is far out of my character, and although I never knowingly took a performance enhancing drug/banned stimulant while on vacation in Mexico, I take full responsibility for what goes in my body and more importantly for the embarrassment of a failed drug test,” said in a statement.

Draya, the “Basketball Wives: LA” star who recently broke up with Scandrick, denied giving him the drug. Black Sports Online captured the following tweets that she later deleted.

Draya posted some photos on Instagram of the former couple vacationing together in Cancun back in April. It appears they traveled with at least two other friends.

If Scandrick was drugged by his own girlfriend or friends, he needs to start hanging out with a better crowd.
