Antonio Brown’s lawyer has already come out and denied the sexual assault allegations against his client, and Brown’s agent is doubling down on the star receiver’s supposed innocence.
In an appearance on SportsCenter on Wednesday, Drew Rosenhaus expressed confidence that Brown will be cleared of the allegations and echoed what Brown’s legal team said about them being a “money grab.”
Drew Rosenhaus goes on to say: "I'll repeat this. This is a money grab. I believe this: this is a money grab."

Britney Taylor, a former friend of Brown’s who helped train him, claims in a lawsuit filed in Florida court on Tuesday that Brown sexually assaulted her on two separate occasions in 2017 and raped her in 2018. She is seeking compensation for “physical injuries, pain and suffering, humiliation, embarrassment, stress and anxiety, loss of self-esteem and self-confidence, and emotional pain and suffering.” The lawsuit states that Taylor passed a lie detector test pertaining to the allegations. You can read more about the details of the allegations here.
Brown’s attorney, Darren Heitner, issued a statement on Tuesday claiming Brown and Taylor had a consensual sexual relationship and that Taylor was seeking $1.6 million from the seven-time Pro Bowler for a business investment back in 2017.
In Brown’s defense, Heitner states that Taylor traveled back to Brown’s home 10 days after one of the alleged 2017 assaults. Heitner says Taylor maintained contact with Brown, posts photos of him on her social media page, and asked him for tickets. Brown says in May 2018, the woman invited him to a night at a club and then asked him to go to his house where they had consensual sex.
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick indicated on Wednesday that Brown’s status is up in the air, though it appears the team is going to leave the decision in the hands of the NFL.
