Report: Eagles kicker Caleb Sturgis to miss 4 weeks
The Philadelphia Eagles will be in the market for a replacement kicker.
Caleb Sturgis is expected to miss four weeks after suffering a hip injury on the opening kick Sunday and is expected to miss four weeks, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Sturgis was Philly’s kicker the past two seasons after spending the previous two years with Miami, who drafted him in 2013. He made 35 of 41 (85.4 percent) of his field goal attempts last season.
Sturgis continued to kick despite the injury, but he got bad enough that Philly went for a two-point conversion late in their game against Washington.
