Eli Manning picked about the worst moment possible to have his typical robotic reaction.
Eli was with the rest of the Manning family watching Peyton play in the Super Bowl on Sunday. After the Broncos scored a touchdown to go up 24-10 — essentially putting the game out of reach — CBS flashed to the celebration in the Manning box. Everyone was noticeably excited and clapping. Everyone except for Eli:
We have little doubt that Eli was happy for his brother to get another Super Bowl, but the funny thing to joke about is that he may be bitter. With Peyton winning, Eli loses the one advantage he held over his far more accomplished bro: Super Bowl rings. With Peyton winning Super Bowl 50, both Manning brothers now have two rings.
