Like anyone else living in America, Fletcher Cox has heard about everything Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have accomplished in the Super Bowl over the past 16 years. He just hasn’t seen any of it, or so he says.
On Wednesday, Cox was asked to share some of his favorite moments from Super Bowls in past years as he prepares to take part in one of his own. The star defensive tackle claims he doesn’t have any because he has never watched a Super Bowl.
#Eagles DE Fletcher Cox said he has no favorite moments from the Super Bowl because he’s never watched one. “I don’t watch sports. Y’all know that.”

That seems extremely hard to believe, and you have to think Cox will at least be watching some film of Brady’s past Super Bowl performances in the coming days. What he probably meant is that he has never sat down and watched a Super Bowl as a spectator, though that would still be a surprise.
Then again, one Patriots player recently said he would rather watch cartoons than sit down and watch his former team play. For some NFL players, football is merely a job that they’re very good at.
