Frances Tiafoe shouts out Commanders after their latest win
The Washington Commanders’ surprising start to the season has fans everywhere hyped, including tennis standout Frances Tiafoe.
Tiafoe is competing in the Rolex Shanghai Masters in China, and played his first match there early Monday morning. Clearly, he had seen the score of the Commanders’ 34-13 victory over Cleveland on Sunday. The Maryland native was eager to send the team some love after defeating Zhou Yi in straight sets, as he signed the camera lens by noting the team’s 4-1 record.

Tiafoe is a big DC sports fan, and members of the Washington Wizards have even supported him from his box in past tournaments.
The Commanders’ surprising turnaround has largely been led by rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, who is quickly establishing himself as a star by putting up some historic numbers. He will face a very tough test in Week 6 when he and the Commanders face the Baltimore Ravens on the road.
