Gareon Conley suffers serious injury, taken off on stretcher
Oakland Raiders cornerback Gareon Conley was carted off the field after suffering what appeared to be a head or neck injury during Monday night’s game against the Denver Broncos.
The Broncos had a 1st-and-10 play near midfield with around five minutes left in the third. They handed off to Royce Freeman, who rushed for a first down. Conley shook a blocker and grabbed a hold of Freeman’s jersey in a tackling effort and was hanging on when teammate Johnathan Abram came by to tackle Freeman. Abram collided with Conley and his leg inadvertently hit his teammate in the head.

The stadium went silent as Conley was tended to on the ground. He was strapped to a stretcher and taken away on a cart.
The good news is the third-year player gave a thumbs up:

Conley had been credited with three tackles in the game. The good news is the word on him was positive after the game.
Gruden got word that Gareon Conley is okay. The reports he has received at this point have been positive.
