It appears New York Giants fans are not the only ones who are bitter about the way Saquon Barkley has looked with the Philadelphia Eagles this season.
Barkley had another dominant showing on Thursday night while leading the Eagles to a win over the Washington Commanders at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. The star running back finished with 198 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns, both of which came in the second half.
The performance strengthened the argument that the Giants made a mistake when they chose not to re-sign Barkley this offseason. Bleacher Report shared a graphic on social media trolling the G-Men over Barkley’s big game, and one of the people who “liked” the post was Giants linebacker Bobby Okereke.

The Giants are 2-8 and headed in a completely different direction from the 8-2 Eagles. Barkley leads the NFL in rushing with 1,137 yards, but he undoubtedly would not have had the same success had he remained in New York. The Eagles have better players at just about every spot on the field, most notably quarterback and offensive line.
Though Barkley probably would not have made a huge difference for the Giants this season, there had already been signs that players were unhappy with the team over the way the Pro Bowl back’s free agency was handled. Okereke’s social media activity may have been a reflection of that.
