The New York Giants utilized Lawrence Taylor to fake out their fans on Sunday night.
The Giants were hosting the Kansas City Chiefs at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Those who were operating the scoreboard in the stadium put on a “Taylor cam.” They faked out their fans by leading them to believe they were going to show Taylor Swift, whose fiance Travis Kelce plays for the Chiefs. They even played one of Swift’s songs to get fans in the mood.
Instead, they pulled a switcheroo and located and zoomed in on LT, who happened to be smoking a cigar.

Now that’s the Taylor Giants fans want to see, not Taylor.
Taylor, of course, played for the Giants from 1981-1993. He made 10 straight Pro Bowls to start his career and was an eight-time first-team All-Pro. The two-time Defensive Player of the Year is a Hall of Famer and considered one of the best defensive players of all time. Giants fans love him, and likely appreciated the fake out.
