Report: Giants open to Odell Beckham trade
The New York Giants are open to trading Odell Beckham, according to a report.
Speaking from the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Giants GM Dave Gettleman said the team did not sign Beckham to a long-term deal to trade him.
Gettleman opens his presser by repeating “We didn’t sign Odell to trade him.”

Despite Gettleman’s proclamation, CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora says the Giants are not opposed to trading Beckham. He adds that head coach Pat Shurmur is struggling to manage the wide receiver.
The Giants shopped Beckham last offseason but decided to keep him after one specific team showed the most interest in him.
Beckham is under contract through 2023, though the Giants can get out of his contract after the 2020 season for a reasonable amount, according to Spotrac.
