Giants willing to trade Saquon Barkley

The New York Giants need to make some moves to get under the salary cap, and they are open for business when it comes to trades. They are even willing to trade the No. 2 overall pick from the 2018 NFL Draft.
New Giants general manager Joe Schoen was asked Tuesday whether he is open to a Saquon Barkley trade. He said he was open to everything.
Asked Joe Schoen how open is he to a trade for some of his better players, specifically Saquon Barkley:
“I’m open to everything…”
Said he’s willing to listen to pretty much anything. They have to make some difficult decisions on guys which will be coming “soon.”

The Giants are currently projected at around $11 million over the salary cap, so they have to do some maneuvering to get under. They have committed to Daniel Jones as their starting quarterback for 2022 and seem to be making Kadarius Toney a focal point.
James Bradberry, Sterling Shepard and Kyle Rudolph are players who could be traded or have their contracts reworked.

Barkley is set to make $7.2 million and could be moved as well.
The 25-year-old running back has dealt with injuries since his Pro Bowl rookie season. Barkley rushed for just 593 yards on a 3.7 average per carry last season, though he cautions against anyone doubting him.
