The New York Jets’ loss is Rex Ryan’s gain.
The Buffalo Bills claimed IK Enemkpali off waivers a day after he was released by the Jets for punching quarterback Geno Smith.
Enemkpali saw action in six games last year and was credited for three tackles. The linebacker was selected by the Jets in the sixth round last year out of Louisana Tech, where he also had a major issue for violence.
Now with Ryan in charge, the Jets are wasting no time scooping up questionable character players. In addition to Enemkpali, they gave offensive lineman Richie Incognito another chance following the whole bullying scandal, and they also signed Percy Harvin. Given Harvin’s questionable history, don’t be surprised if he and IK end up throwing down.
