Mahomes’ brother Jackson and fiancee Brittany Matthews are so disliked by fans that they ranked as among the most disliked NFL figures according to one metric.
BetOnline put together research on which NFL figures received the most negative tweets during the month of December. Their list revealed that Aaron Rodgers, Antonio Brown and Bill Belichick received the most negative tweets that month, with Rodgers receiving more than anyone else on the list by far.
What was interesting was seeing a non-player or coach come in so highly on the list.
Jackson Mahomes ranked as the 6th-most disliked NFL figure in December with 71,349 negative tweets. Further down the top-20 list was Matthews, who was 17th with 10,404 negative tweets.
